The main thing stopping me using .NET Core for Windows, is the winforms/designer support, which is being taken care of with this release (and a future release) -

C#8 is Part of this release – This is cooland offers some cool stuff, such as default implimentations in Interfaces as well as a whole bunch of work with nullable types.
